Sealed bids include the award or two Hazardous Materials Removal contracts for the following Asbestos Abatement/Demolition/Disposal - Old Gymnasium Building and Administration Building Boiler Room. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informality in any proposals received. For Any questions, please contact Derick Upchurch at 931-243-3310 Scope of Work Montrose requests a cost proposal addressing the proper removal and disposal of the following: The ACM identified in the Old Gymnasium Building include: Window glaze (approximately 400 linear feet / 12 basement windows) 9-inch X 9-inch black floor tile (approximately 145 square feet) Thermal systems insulation at a wall penetration in the boiler room (approximately 3 square feet) Ceiling board above boiler in the boiler room (approximately 80 square feet) Household hazardous materials to be removed and appropriately disposed in the Old Gymnasium Building include: Approximately 50 potentially PCB-containing ballasts Approximately 100 fluorescent lightbulbs Materials to be demolished and appropriately disposed in the Old Gymnasium Building include: The boiler and associated equipment in the basement boiler room. The boiler is approximately 10 feet long, 8 feet tall, and 4 feet wide.
