Consultants are sought to provide professional engineering services for the Rush County Bridge 93 Replacement project on N 350E over Ben Davis Creek (INDOT Des #: 2501396, phases included: PE and RW). The estimated construction amount is $1,777,257. Required services may include environmental document preparation, topographical survey data collection, non-complex roadway design, level 1 bridge design, right of way plan development, project management for acquisition services, title search, appraisal, appraisal review, construction inspection, and other related Prequalification Categories (5.2, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 6.1, 7.1, 8.1, 9.1, 11.1, 12.1, 12.2, 12.4, 12.5, 12.6, 12.7, 13.1, 16.1). The contract is funded with 80% federal and 20% local funds and continues until project completion. The DBE goal is 0%. Instructions to bidders: The Letter of Interest (LOI) must include identification, qualifications, key staff, and project approach. State the firm’s name, office location, contact person, list of proposed subconsultants and their DBE status, project manager and key staff, and their availability. Describe staff experience, capacity to perform work, and technical approach including site visits, understanding of the project, cost containment practices, and innovative ideas. LOIs are limited to 12 pages and must be signed by an officer of the firm. Affirmative Action Certification forms are required if any DBE goal is specified.
