The work involves two complementary feasibility studies: an Arena Feasibility Study and a Turf Field Feasibility Study. Both studies are to be commissioned concurrently through a single RFP process to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach. This is intended to align data collection, community needs, market analysis, cost estimates, shared infrastructure opportunities, and comparative prioritization, thereby improving efficiency, reducing duplication, and providing an integrated basis for decision-making. The studies will focus on exploring new recreational opportunities at Tremur Lake, an 18.6 hectare property in the city’s west end identified as underutilized but with strong potential for recreation and leisure activities. The maximum project budget is $80,000 (excluding taxes), covering both studies. All work must be completed no later than January 2027.
