As of April 07, 2026, the project was awarded to Advance Communications & Consulting, with an awarded amount of $385,370.54. The contractor will be responsible for all work as described in the "Scope of Work", "Project Documents", "Specifications" and "Drawings". It is the responsibility of the Contractor to bid a complete and operable solution. If the bidder feels that the system described is not complete, the Bidder will must address their specific concerns in writing to the Owner before submitting a quote. The Owner will not be responsible for additional costs incurred by the bidder due to the submission of an incomplete bid. Participation goal for disabled veteran business enterprises of at least 3 percent Each bid must conform and be responsive to the contract documents. The projects and services depend on partial funding from the E-Rate program. Contractors must be thoroughly familiar with E-Rate rules and regulations. All contracts entered into will be contingent upon specific funding by the SLD at the submitted percentage rate, with the percentage rate being the maximum liability for the District. The Contractor will bill the government (USAC) for the balance. No billing or work shall commence before April 1, 2026. On the bid day, Contractors must supply their Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) and certify it is current. The project is anticipated to start after April 1, 2026, with a duration of 160 days and completion no later than August 2027. Liquidated damages of $500.00/day apply for delays. Each bid package may be awarded separately or in any combination. Contractors are required to pay prevailing wage rates, which are on file at the District office, and post these rates at each jobsite. DIR registration is required for all Bidders and Subcontractors at the time of bid submission. A Bid Bond (at least 10% of bid), Payment Bond, and Performance Bond (for contracts over $25,000) are required. Payment and Performance Bonds, and a Certificate of Insurance, must be provided before work begins. Securities can be substituted for funds withheld.
