Sealed bids are invited for Centennial Park Final Design, which includes: site removals and clearing, earthwork operations, electrical connections, water utility adjustments, cast-in-place concrete foundations and footings, concrete paving and curbs, pedestrian asphalt paving, unit paving, chain link fencing and gates, sport court paving and striping, engineered wood fiber installation, bag toss game, playground and fitness equipment installation, shelter installation, site furnishings installation, native planting, plant material, and turf and grasses. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the Contractor's name and address, and "Bid for Centennial Park Phase One Final Design" on the face of the envelope. Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Village of Antioch, is required. The successful bidder shall pay at least the Prevailing Rate of Wages under the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and submit certified payrolls monthly. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty days after opening without written consent. Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids and be used as subcontractors.
