Site work and paving for a civil project in Henderson, Nevada. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The City of Henderson is undertaking a nearly $23 million improvement project along a two-mile stretch of Stephanie Street between Windmill Lane and Galleria Drive. The scope includes repairing a damaged reclaimed-water pipeline originally built in 1990, sewer system rehabilitation, and full pavement replacement along one of the city's most deteriorated road segments. The project also includes improvements near the Union Pacific Railroad tracks and adjacent major commercial areas such as Sunset Station and Galleria Mall. A $19.5 million construction contract was awarded to Las Vegas Paving, with work scheduled to begin in June 2026 and conclude in September 2027. Two lanes of traffic in each direction are planned to remain open during construction.
