Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Georgetown, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes the installation of a new duplex pump station with controls and force main to carry the effluent directly to the Pearl River, replacing the existing cascade aerator system. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor and materials and for performing all activities specified in the Contract Documents for the construction of the 2023 DRA Sewer Improvements. The Contract Time will be One Hundred Twenty (120) consecutive calendar days, with liquidated damages of $500 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. Bids will only be accepted from bidders who have received the Contract Documents and Addenda from the Engineer. Non-resident bidders must include a copy of their resident state's current law regarding the treatment of non-resident contractors with their bid; otherwise, their bid will be rejected. The Town of Georgetown reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in the bidding and to reject any and all bids.
