Renovation of an educational facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Prime Contractor Balfour Beatty Construction, LLC was previously awarded this contract under solicitation LB25-0310-23-00-P1 and is the contractor bidding this project. The scope of work is the whole site modernization of Valencia Park ES, which includes; the removal of 5 total portables, the complete new build of one building (600), new doors, electrical, window shades, flooring in the 5 existing buildings, new mechanical in 4 of the existing buildings, new windows in one of the existing buildings, some structural upgrades throughout the existing campus, new shade structure, new trash enclosure, new asphalt/ slurry seal across the existing asphalt, new play structure, new retaining wall, fully upgraded kitchen, new utility tie ins. BID SCHEDULE: All subcontractors must adhere to the Bid Schedule below. Question Deadline 03/12/2026 Submit RFIs electronically through online. Type of Award Lump Sum Estimated Bid Value 36-37 Million Construction Schedule: 24 months The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposals or in the bidding process. No Subcontractor may withdraw their proposal for a period of 90 days after the District receives proposals. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
