**As of April 20, 2026, this project has been awarded** Transport, deliver, and place beach compatible sand from one or more of the approved Sand Sources to restore scour holes and to rebuild linear feet of emergency berms previously constructed by others to offset the impacts of Hurricane Ian. A Bid Bond and a Public Construction Bond are required. The Town of Fort Myers Beach reserves the right to waive informalities, make awards including multiple awards, waive non-substantive irregularities or technicalities, and/or reject any or all bids. The Town of Fort Myers Beach seeks to contract with a qualified Contractor to transport, deliver, and place beach compatible sand from one or more of the approved Inland Sand Mines to restore scour holes and to rebuild emergency berms previously constructed by others to offset the impacts of Hurricanes Ian and Nicole. The estimated fill quantity is 60,400 tons.
