Demo and removal of existing walk-in freezer/cooler. Purchase and delivery of a Thermo-Kool walk-in cooler/freezer or equivalent, matching existing dimensions and specifications. Setup and installation of freezer/cooler including condensers. All electrical, mechanical, and plumbing associated with installation, meeting State codes and manufacturer specifications. Installation includes running and securing up to 75 feet of line set for equipment, insulating, and system charging. Removal of all scraps from demo and installation, removal and capping of existing light fixture as needed, installation of new access panel to match new walk-in, and repair of any equipment or property damage caused by the contractor. Provision and installation of freezer shelving per specified models and minimum requirements. A turnkey installation is required, with the cooler/freezer fully functioning and signed off by the district before final payment. Contractor is responsible for all installation materials beyond what is provided by the manufacturer, field verification of all measurements, meeting with district representative to clarify work, and obtaining and paying for all necessary state and local permits. Contractor must have five years of experience in this type of work and provide a one-year guarantee for materials and workmanship. Prevailing wage requirements and bonds for performance and payment at 25% of the base bid are mandatory. All bids must be submitted using the specified bid form and delivery method.
