Questions regarding the bid will be accepted up to five calendar days prior to the bid opening and should be emailed to the buyer or purchasing office. All instructions, specifications, terms, and conditions must be read carefully; failure to comply may result in the bid being declared non-responsive. All information requested in the bid must be typed or printed in the spaces provided, with any corrections initialed. The bid must contain an original ink signature by the authorized individual. Submit one original with original signature and one copy of the bid, in a sealed envelope or package, clearly displaying the name and address of the bidder, the bid number, due date, bid opening time, and marked as a 'SEALED BID' on the front. Each bid must be addressed and submitted separately. Faxed or emailed bids are not acceptable; late bids will be rejected and returned unopened. The official due date and time are determined by the date/time clock in the Purchasing Services Office. Bids received by the established date and time will be opened publicly, and all information will become public at that time. All bids shall be firm for acceptance for sixty days from the date of the bid opening unless specified otherwise. Only bids received for the specified items will be considered. Quotes submitted to a department by a vendor prior to the bid issue date are considered null and void. Bidders are responsible for ensuring delivery of their package before the due date and time.
