Sealed bids are requested for the removal of the existing steel stringer bridge over Waddams Creek in West Point Township, Stephenson County, and the construction of a new single span precast, prestressed concrete deck beam bridge superstructure on concrete spill-through pile bent abutments at the same location (Section No. 18-17130-00-BR). The work includes tree stump removal, furnishing and driving steel H-piles, placement of reinforcement bars, installation of porous granular embankment, earth excavation, channel excavation, aggregate base course, stone riprap, placement of HMA pavement, and incidental work necessary to complete the section. The Stephenson County Public Works Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. Consists of removing the existing structure and constructing of a new single span PPC Deck Beam Bridge, 84'-0" bk to bk, 28'-0" o-o, reconstructing roadway and other related work.
