Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Port Arthur, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The purpose of the Pre-Bid Conference is to make certain that the scope of work is fully understood, to answer any questions, to clarify the intent of the Contract Documents, and to resolve any problems that may affect the project construction. No addendum will be issued at this meeting, but subsequent thereto, the Purchasing Manager, if necessary, will issue an addendum(s) to clarify the intent of the Contract Documents. Questions concerning the Invitation to Bid or Scope of Work should be directed in writing to City of Port Arthur, TX Clifton Williams, Purchasing Manager P.O. Box 1089 Port Arthur, TX 77641 clifton.williams@portarthurtx.gov Sealed bids are invited for the re-roofing of the Sabine Pass Community Center. Copies of the specifications and contract documents are available for public inspection at the Purchasing Office or can be retrieved from the City's website or publicpurchase.com. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled at the Sabine Pass Community Center. Bids received after the specified deadline will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Companies in arrears in their obligations to the City will not be awarded a contract.
