Renovation of a multi-residential development in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a seven-story above grade multi-residential development.
The Personnel and Material Hoist scope includes the supply, engineered design, installation, operation, maintenance, and dismantling of one personnel material hoist serving eight stops (Levels 1-7 and roof). The subcontractor is responsible for delegated engineering (including tiebacks, base design, and structural attachments), hoist base and loading platform, erection and dismantling with crane, TSSA inspections and permits, maintenance and inspections, winter operation provisions, and full coordination with site logistics and facade sequencing. Exclusions include temporary power, ESA inspection, hoist operator, and permanent foundation work by others. The interior and exterior refresh of an existing 7 floor apartment building, including replacement of building facade, roofing system, doors and windows, interior finishes, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC system. New landscaping includes new courtyard layout, playground, and waste enclosure. Townhouses are not in scope.
