Reference Number 0000414614 The Bear Creek Low Water Crossing improvements include a box culvert for Bear Creek Pass, spanning Bear Creek located in Hays County. The crossing will require eight 7- by 9-ft box culverts to span Bear Creek. The top of the crossing will be around elevation 887 ft and the base elevation of Bear Creek is around elevation 878 ft. Fills and cuts will likely be required to insall the culverts and construct the approaches. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Bid Bond in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, issued by an acceptable surety company, must accompany each bid as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter a proper contract and execute bonds and guaranties within ten (10) days after the date contract documents are received by the awarded contractor. Performance and Payment Bonds (100% of Contract Price) will be required as stated in the bidding documents.
