The Town of Barrington is seeking sealed bids for the Barrington Recreational Trail Improvements Project. The project consists of furnishing and installing approximately 1,200 linear feet of an 8-foot-wide stone dust path from the connection to the Barrington Recycling Center, continuing south around Prince Pond, approximately 850 linear feet of new 10-foot-wide stone dust path from the existing path south to Foote Street, a 10-foot-wide stone dust path, new HDPE pipe, new curbing, and an accessible ramp on Upland Way at the intersection with Atlantic Crossing. All bids must include one original and one copy in a sealed envelope, marked with the company name and project title. Bid security of five percent of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond for the full value of the bid price, along with all required insurance certificates, within seven calendar days after the award date. Any deviation from the specifications must be noted in writing and attached as part of the bid proposal. Bids must be written in ink or typed, and corrections must be initialed by the bidder. The Town reserves the right to award in part or full and to increase or decrease quantities in the best interest of the Town. The Town reserves the right to rescind the award for non-compliance to bid. The successful bidder must adhere to all Town, State and Federal Laws, where applicable.
