Sealed bids are being received for Hamilton Southeastern HS - Bus Lot Improvements - Phase A. All work for the complete construction of the project will be under one or more sub-contracts with the Construction Manager based on bids received from pre-qualified tier 1 bidders and on combinations awarded. Award of contracts will be in accordance with Indiana Public Bidding Laws. The Construction Manager will not self-perform any of the work. The bidding categories under consideration include: 1 - Demo, Earthwork, Concrete, Electrical & Site Amenities and 2 - Asphalt Paving. Subcontractors will enter into a sub-contract with The Skillman Corporation as the Construction Manager for the Owner. Instructions for bid submission and document access are provided. Bidders must submit bid security in the amount of 10% of the bid. The successful bidders must provide Dual Obligee Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of their contract amount prior to execution of contracts. The Owner and Construction Manager reserve the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, accept alternates, and determine awards based on the sum of base bid and accepted alternates. Bids may be held for up to 60 days before awarding contracts. Pre-qualification requirements: Notice is directed to pre-qualified tier 1 bidders only.
