For the following annual bids: Pavement Markings The Road Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bids. The Cheboygan County Road Commission is an equal opportunity purchaser. Cheboygan County Road Commission is tax exempt. Centerline marking shall be broken line. "No Passing Zone" limits will be laid out by the Contractor as required by the Manual. The Contractor shall re-establish and/or adjust the location of passing zones. Payment for re-establishing or adjusting zones shall be included in payment for pavement marking and will not be paid separately. Work shall be completed at such time agreed upon by the CCRC and the contractor. Marking operations shall be performed during normal CCRC hours, unless approved by CCRC. Presently we are anticipating centerline and edge line marking of a portion of our primary road system, between approximately 350,000 to 500,000 linear feet of line. A location map of roads to be painted will be provided to the successful bidder before work may commence. Bids shall be per foot for 4" Yellow. Bids shall be per foot for 4" White. Bids for intersection turn arrows. Stop Bar, Curb striping, parking striping, and cross walk striping will be bid by lineal foot. Bidder shall provide proof of insurance including but not limited to: public liability and property damage, workers compensation, unemployment and other coverage as might be required by law. Bidder shall provide indemnifications for the Cheboygan County Road Commission for any and all claims arising as a result of operations in the performance of the above services.
