Sealed proposals are requested for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required for the project designated as Indian Creek Village Storm Sewer and Paving for Sanitary and Improvement District 404, Douglas County, Nebraska, according to the plans and specifications provided. The work consists essentially of clearing and grubbing, mobilization, installing, maintaining, and removing silt fence, maintaining a construction entrance with crushed rock aggregate, cleaning out a water quality basin, constructing various sizes of reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) with aggregate bedding, constructing storm manholes, flared end sections, installing reinforced concrete pipe couplers, installing rip rap, common earth excavation, constructing 7-inch concrete pavement, adjusting manholes to grade, installing external frame seals, drilling and epoxying tie bars, constructing thickened edges, full-depth saw cuts, constructing concrete headers, curb inlets, installing curb inlet protection, road barricades, temporary turnarounds, seeding, mulching, street name signs, sign posts, and jetting the existing sanitary sewer. All proposals must be submitted on bid forms furnished by Foleyshald Engineering, accompanied by a bid bond or certified check of at least $35,500 as security, and must provide a contract and maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price. Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked accordingly. The work shall be done under written contract with the lowest responsible bidder, in accordance with the requirements of the plans and specifications.
