**As of May 20th 2026 this project has not yet been awarded. Additional information will be available following the May 2026 SAWS Board meeting. Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision for asphalt and street construction services and associated work throughout the service area for the 2026 Annual Asphalt Overlay Work Order Construction Contract Pkg. 1. Bids will be received electronically or through sealed bids. Electronic bids are to be submitted via the secure FTP site; sealed bids are to be delivered to the specified location. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price. Further instructions regarding the electronic bid submittal and FTP access requests are provided, including deadlines and contact information. Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other staff or officials regarding the solicitation until the contract is awarded as outlined in the instructions. For questions regarding this solicitation, technical questions or additional information, please contact Theadora Gonzalez, Contract Administrator in writing via email to: Theadora.Gonzalez@saws.org until 3:00 PM (CDT) on March 16, 2026. Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 3:00 PM (CDT) on March 20, 2026, as a separate document or included as part of an addendum. Please be advised that Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this IFB up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. SBOP goal on this Contract/Project is___% [In Event bid note: If Bidders intend to submit bids electronically, Bidders will need to submit a request by 10:00 AM (CDT), on March 24, 2026 to receive access to the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site via email to Theadora.Gonzalez@saws.org. The aspirational SBOP goal is 30%of your total bid price.
