Sealed proposals will be received for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to perform street reconstruction, including repair of large and small pavement areas (Type OPW 4000), saw cutting existing pavement to full depth, removing and replacing faulty subgrade, and adjusting manholes to grade. The estimated quantities are: 375 SY of large area pavement repair, 524 SY of small area pavement repair, 1,253 LF of full-depth saw cutting, 25 TN of subgrade replacement, and 2 each manhole adjustments. All proposals must be submitted on designated bid forms and accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of not less than $4,200.00. Bidders must agree to enter a contract and provide a contract and maintenance bond equal to 100% of the contract price if awarded. Proposals must be sealed, properly marked, and submitted as specified. Proposals not conforming to these requirements or received after the deadline will be returned unopened. All work is to be done under written contract with the lowest responsible bidder per the plans and specifications. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Plans and specifications must be obtained from the specified consulting group upon payment of a non-refundable fee.
