Conservation Halton/Glen Eden is seeking proposals for the replacement of one existing air compressor located within the snowmaking building. The project includes the removal of the current compressor and the supply and installation of a new unit within the same facility. The replacement compressor must be fully integrated into the existing snowmaking infrastructure and connected to the current distribution system and starter motor. The replacement compressor should operate within a horsepower range of 400 to 500 HP and deliver an airflow capacity between 2,200 and 2,500 CFM. The compressor must be water cooled and oil free. The successful proponent will be responsible for reviewing the existing electrical infrastructure, including service capacity, protection, controls, and the existing starter motor, to confirm compatibility with the proposed equipment. Any required modifications or upgrades necessary to safely and reliably operate the new compressor must be identified, coordinated, and completed as part of the project.
