The project involves the replacement of the Pettibone Road Bridge in Bainbridge Township, Geauga County, Ohio. Bidders may submit their bids digitally via Bid Express or in a sealed envelope at the Geauga County Engineers Office. Bids will be based on unit prices, and the estimated cost for the project is $1,300,000.00. All proposal, plans, and specifications can be viewed and downloaded free of charge from the specified website or obtained from the Geauga County Engineers Office. Digital bidders must register with Bid Express and pay a fee to submit bids. Paper bid documents are available free of charge at the Engineers Office. Each bid must be accompanied by a bond for the full amount of the bid, or a certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit for 10% of the total bid amount. Digital bidders must submit original documents within three business days of the bid opening. Bids may be held for up to sixty days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, and accept any bid deemed most favorable.
