The work for which proposals are invited consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and material for the installation of new roadway, parking lot, and concrete work in the northeast corner of Spring House Park and all other work as may be necessary to complete the contract in accordance with the plans and specifications. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates for public improvements in the City of Beavercreek, Greene County, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Division of Labor and Worker Safety, Wage and Hour Bureau. Application of a local bidder credit in determining contract award is explained in the 'Instructions to Bidders' section of the project bid documents. The City of Beavercreek reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities in the bidding, and to enter into a contract with the bidder offering the lowest and best proposal. The City also reserves the right to hold all proposals for sixty days. If any person, firm or corporation contemplating submitting a bid for this Contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Drawings, Specifications or other Contract Documents, he may submit to the Engineer a written request for an interpretation thereof.
