The contractor will provide and replace approximately 1,250 AMR Meters and an AMR Meter System. Bids will be received for a single prime contract and shall be unit price pay items as indicated in the Bid Form. Instructions state that contract documents, including drawings and specifications, may be examined at the office of the City of Guntown and Engineering Solutions, Inc. Bids may be submitted either by paper copy or electronically through the specified website. Each bid must be marked on the outside "Bid for: AMR Meter Replacement, City of Guntown." Each bid must include a satisfactory bid bond, certified check, or bank draft payable to the City of Guntown in an amount equal to 5% of the total bid. Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to inquire about potential subcontracting opportunities and supply needs.
