The City of Tacoma is seeking competitive proposals from qualified firms to perform general construction work as part of the City's Job Order Contracting program. This program involves a fixed period, indefinite quantity contract where each individual project completed under the contract is managed through negotiated Job Orders. Pricing for these projects is based on the Unit Prices in the City's Construction Task Catalog® and adjustment factors provided by the contractor for the duration of the contract. All Unit Prices reflect local labor, material, and equipment costs, intended as the direct cost of construction. The City may establish up to three Job Order Contracts with selected firms through a multi-phased request for proposal process in accordance with RCW 39.10.430-460. The estimated annual value of each contract is $4,000,000, but this value is not guaranteed.
