Reference number: 20125953 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2026-03-02 There is provision for a tendering process for each tender No Expected duration of the contract without options (in months) 4 Description EQUIPMENT EVAPORATIVE CONDENSER 1. The evaporative condenser must be an Evapco LSC-120 model. a. (No equivalent unit will be accepted). 2. The condenser must be equipped with a 15 hp fan motor, 575V/3Ph/60 Hz. 3. The condenser shall have a minimum heat rejection capacity of 1,200 MBH at a condensation temperature of 95.0F and a wet bulb temperature of 78.0F. 4. The new pump must be checked to work with the new condenser. Minimum pump capacity: 4x3x8 - 4280 - 3 hp - 180 gpm - 1800 rpm. The final selection must be approved by a professional engineer. 5. The condenser water pump must be purchased from Armstrong Fluid Technologies. a. (No equivalent pump will be accepted). 6. The condenser water pump must provide a water flow rate of at least 180 US gpm to the spray header in order to ensure proper watering of the coil. 7. The water pump of the condenser shall receive new water supply lines of appropriate size between the pump and the water inlet of the condenser. Steel piping of 3" minimum. 8. Provide and install new PVC 6" drain lines to the existing water tank. 9. Provide and install new waterproof fittings to accommodate the new pump and overflow connections. 10. Close and seal the old holes of the existing tank. 11. The existing water tank needs to be reused. ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS The contractor must include electrical upgrades necessary to ensure proper operation of the new evaporative condenser. These upgrades may include, but are not limited to, new fan starters, relays, timers, cabling, ducts, etc. The contractor must include ESA inspections if required. Power supply: 575V/3 phases/60 Hz. Control power supply: 120V/1 phase/60 Hz. All electrical connections to the new unit must be made by a licensed contractor. The new pump starter must be installed inside the existing refrigeration panel. All controls must be mounted, connected and wired to the panel. All relays, timers, terminal blocks and wiring must be supplied and installed in accordance with current municipal and provincial codes. PAINTING All new steel piping manufactured on site shall be painted with a primary and final layer in accordance with the owner's requirements. IDENTIFICATION All new refrigerant and water main lines of the ice rink refrigeration system must be identified after painting and insulation, indicating the substance contained in the pipeline and the direction of flow. All lines passing through a wall must be immediately identified on both sides of the wall.
