Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Greenwood, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.

As of March 18, 2026, the project was awarded to Howard Companies, with an awarded amount of $1,202,777.80. Sealed bids are requested for the City of Greenwood 2026 Annual Paving Project, as described in the specifications. Specifications, plans, and instructions to bidders are available from the ePlanroom for Repro Graphix, Inc. Bidders are responsible for all costs associated with obtaining these documents. Bids must be submitted on a fully completed Indiana Form #96 (Revised 2013) and accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent of the total base bid. Bids should be in sealed envelopes marked with the bidder’s name, place of business, and '2026 Annual Paving Project.' A performance bond equal to the contract price and a payment bond will be required upon award. Bids may not be withdrawn for at least forty-five days after the scheduled closing time. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept any part of any bid, or waive informalities. The lowest responsible and responsive bid will be accepted. In these areas, the contractor shall mill the existing roadway material (asphalt) down approximately 3”, 3 ½” (depending upon street – see bid schedule), dispose of all material, install 2” of 12.5 MM bituminous binder, 1 ½” of 9.5MM virgin bituminous surface to obtain proper drainage and a ¼” per foot cross slope once completed, tack coat, install liquid asphalt sealant, casting adjustments to grade, ADA Ramp removal and installation (as applicable), thermoplastic material. The successful bidder shall establish grade for the new overlaid roadways and will be responsible to provide positive drainage to existing inlets. Cross slope for new overlaid roadways shall be ¼” per foot minimum in most locations however the successful bidder is responsible to make sure that positive drainage is provided in all areas. Coordinate this work with engineering division/street department personnel prior to beginning construction. The roadway elevation after construction shall be the same as the roadway elevation prior to construction and the successful bidder will be responsible to provide positive drainage to existing inlets and/or roadside ditches. No separate line item for payment for any surveying/staking/field work/construction layout needed for roadway elevation control. The cost of any surveying/staking/field work/construction layout needed for roadway elevation control shall be included in the unit prices of all other items on the bid schedules. All work for this portion of the project shall be completed in accordance with these specifications and details and also in accordance with the latest edition of the INDOT Standard Specifications and Section 402 for HMA, type, MM, mix design, certifications, etc. Care should be taken not to damage any new/ existing concrete curbs or sidewalks. Damage to any new/ existing concrete curbs or sidewalks due to contractor error, shall be removed and replaced at contractor’s expense
