The Board of Education of Hartland Consolidated Schools is accepting bids for the renovation of the pool slide stairs at Hartland High School. Plans and specifications as prepared by Hartland Consolidated Schools may be downloaded. Proposals marked "Pool Stairs Renovations" will be accepted no later than 12:00 PM, March 10, 2026, to HESSC Maintenance Office, 9525 Highland Rd, Howell MI 48843. Oral, telephone, fax or electronic mail bids are invalid and will not be considered. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 12:15 p.m., March 10, 2026, at HESSC - Maintenance Office, 9525 Highland Road Howell MI 48843. There will be a pre-bid meeting scheduled by appointment as needed. All bidders must provide familial disclosure in compliance with MCL 380.1267 and attach this information to the bid proposal. The bid proposal must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Hartland Consolidated Schools Board of Education or the Hartland Consolidated Schools Superintendent. The district will not accept a bid proposal that does not include these sworn and notarized disclosure statements. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part; to award contract to other than the low bidder; to waive any irregularities and/or informalities; and in general, to make awards in any manner deemed to be in the best interests of the owner.
