The City of Ocala requires the services of an experienced Contractor to provide demolition services for the Tuscawilla Park Alum Stormwater Treatment System equipment demolition. The project consists of demolishing the existing alum stormwater treatment system equipment located at Tuscawilla Park. The existing building containing the equipment shall be preserved, as well as the existing water and power connections. The base bid includes, but is not limited to: demolition and removal of the alum stormwater treatment system equipment, capping and abandonment of the existing connections to the system equipment, and preserving utility connections for the existing building. Contractors are responsible for providing all materials, labor, and equipment (in good working condition) to complete the demolition, removal, and hauling away of materials for this project. Contractors must use lead-safe practices during total demolition activities, have at least five (5) years' experience in stormwater treatment system equipment demolition services, and be licensed as a General Contractor in the State of Florida. Awarded vendors must provide a signed and notarized affidavit attesting not to use coercion for labor or services, in compliance with Section 787.06, Florida Statutes. Bidders must upload a completed Exhibit B - Price Proposal with their response and bid on all line items. The award will be made to the lowest, responsive bidder meeting all requirements outlined in the scope of work. Contractors must be willing to honor bid prices for at least 90 calendar days after bids are received and remain current in all obligations due to the City during the contract term.
