Site work and paving for a road / highway in Vonore, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Separate sealed bids are requested for a road extension project. Bids will be received at the specified location until the designated time, at which point they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Relevant documents such as Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Bond Forms may be requested. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must submit security with their bid as specified. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors under the Tennessee Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 and qualified for the type of construction. Bidders must observe conditions of employment and minimum wage rates, and comply with Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246 requirements. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference is required. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 60 days after the bid opening.
