Sealed proposals are requested for the construction of a skateboard park at Tanner Park, Copiague, New York under Bid No. 26G14. Bids must be received by 10:00 AM on the specified date at the designated address, and will be publicly opened and read at that time. Bids submitted after the deadline will not be accepted, and all pages must be submitted intact. Each proposal must include a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the Town of Babylon in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid comparison price. An apprenticeship program approved by the NYS Department of Labor is required for all projects exceeding $250,000.00. This applies to all prime contracts and their respective sub-contracts for all necessary trades. Noncompliance with this requirement may result in rejection of the bid. Minority and women owned businesses are encouraged to participate.
