Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Kansas City, Missouri. Completed plans call civil work for a municipal facility and water / sewer project.

Questions due from potential bidders by April 3, 2026, at 2 p.m .The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) is a bi-state agency offering mass transit service within the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. KCATA is requesting bids from qualified vendors to provide insurance, labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, bonds and all requirements of the Scope of Work and Technical Drawings to provide demolition of an existing chiller and cooling tower and all associated equipment at KCATA's Building. Bond Requirements A bid guarantee in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Performance and payment bonds must be provided prior to Notice to Proceed issuance by KCATA in the amount of 100% of the contract award value for each bond. Questions and Requests for Clarification. Questions (technical, contractual, or administrative) must be directed in writing by email only to Kristene@kcata.org. Questions and requests for clarifications will be received until March 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. An addendum will be issued to include all questions sent to KCATA as well as answers. This project is funded in part by the Federal Transit Administration.
