The work consists of one-time maintenance and repair services for erosion, including repair of eroded shorelines and related services. Proposers must be able to provide the level of service as outlined in the Project Manual and meet these qualifications: be authorized to do business in Florida, hold all required licenses in good standing, have at least five years of experience with stormwater pond erosion repair services of similar size and scope, have completed at least three similar projects in the past three years, comply with Florida’s E-Verify requirements, and be fully licensed and insured. Proposals must be submitted as one original hard copy and one electronic copy (PDF format and all documents on a USB flash drive), in a sealed package labeled "RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS LAKESIDE CDD EROSION REPAIR PROJECT." Proposals must be received by the specified deadline and in the form provided in the Project Manual. Proposals received after the specified time will not be considered. Any incomplete proposals or those missing required documents may be disqualified. Price will be one factor in evaluating proposals, but the right is reserved to award to other than the lowest price proposal. The District may reject any or all proposals, modify the work, award in whole or in part, phase the project, or waive minor technical irregularities as it deems appropriate. All costs to prepare and submit a proposal are the responsibility of the proposer, who is not entitled to compensation prior to contract issuance.
