Renovation of a library in Orion, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Sealed bids will be received for the 2026 Facility Improvements. Lump sum bid proposals are required. A pre-bid conference will be held, and all bidders are strongly encouraged to attend and make a site visit with prior arrangement. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount must be submitted with the bid. Bids must be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope clearly marked "2026 Facility Improvements." The Library Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the Library. All bidders must comply with Illinois law regarding prevailing wages, statutory labor requirements, and Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. Digital bidding documents are available from City Blue Technologies. Hard copies are available for purchase at the Contractor's expense. Question Deadline 03/13/2026: Last Request for Information Due: 4 days prior to due date of bids.
