The Town seeks to engage a qualified contractor to perform inspection services on key sections of its water and wastewater mains. Nine pipeline sections totaling approximately 20 kilometers of varying pipe material have been identified as candidates for inspection. The Town will collaborate with the successful Proponent to prioritize the inspection work based on available budget, technological capabilities, and the risks of each asset. The work involves operating within a complex water and wastewater network with significant elevation changes, multiple pressure zones, and collection basins. The infrastructure includes environmentally sensitive areas and some unknown pipe materials and locations. Much of the infrastructure is over 50 years old.
