The scope of work includes the renovation of an existing 17,910 square foot single story elementary school building, the addition of a pre-engineered metal building for apparatus bays, and a masonry apparatus support structure as required for the development of Bernalillo Fire Station No. 1. The work includes selective demolition, roofing removal, clearing and grubbing, over excavation and fill, sanitary sewer and water line rerouting, earthwork, connections to existing utilities, concrete foundations, concrete unit masonry, steel joists, steel decking, concrete slabs, wood and steel stud framing, hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, folding doors, sectional doors, door hardware, tiling, casework, carpeting, resilient bases, solid surfaces, gypsum wallboard, toilet accessories, portable fire extinguishers, metal lockers, window shades, batt insulation, exterior insulation and finish system, TPO roofing, metal flashing and trim, liquid applied roofing membrane, acoustical ceilings, pre-engineered metal building, standing seam roofing, metal wall panels, painting, channel letters, interior signage, electrical power and lighting, electrical service, mechanical heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, natural gas service, plumbing and plumbing fixtures, fire sprinklers, low voltage systems, fire alarm, concrete paving, curb and gutter, asphalt paving, striping, fencing and gates, and landscaping. Bidders are instructed to note that bids will be received by the Town of Bernalillo at 829 Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM 87004 until the stated deadline, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud.
