Instantly popular, it was just thee first stage of the park, and more was under construction just past temporary fences. In the image below, another section on the south side of the new mouth of the Don River will open is some weeks time, hopefully late May, as will a section on the west side of Cherry Street, just past the banana bridge and around the base of the Atlas Crane in the shot's middle ground. ________________________________________________________________ This interpretive signage package will deliver an interactive educational and engaging experience for park visitors connecting them with their natural, cultural and historical environment. The signs to be engineered, fabricated and installed support and incorporate Indigenous perspectives and promote recognition of, and respect for, the role the local lands, water and ecosystems held for Indigenous communities. Scope includes provision of preparatory Submittals including Work, Safety and Quality Plans, Schedules, Product Data and material finish samples; provision of Submittals, Shop Drawings, Graphic Layout Shop Drawings; use of camera-ready Owner-supplied artwork; performance of Mockups and a confirmatory mockup document; fabricating and installing the production run of signage and associated structures as follows: 15 sign assemblies; CNC aluminum work involving three panels as well as components for incorporating into two sign assemblies; 8 bronze CNC units, for casting in a concrete surface by Other; and, three wall mounted panels. Work includes installing atop foundations and structures constructed by Others; and supporting Project Administration through activities including but not limited to participating in meetings, scheduling, tracking and logging submissions, scheduling coordination with Consultants and reviewers via a four week lookahead schedule and undertaking subcontract close out activities. Fabricated Production Run units to be installed for or prior to July 2026. Where the anticipated contract value is greater than $250,000 but less than $500,000 the bidder will be required to enroll in the Project’s approved Subcontractor Default Insurance Program. Where the anticipated contract value is greater than $500,000 the bidder will be required to bond with an established surety company.
