Description

Renovation of a stadium in Prince George, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a stadium.

Assess and remediate ongoing dehumidification issues at the Kin Centre Arenas, located at 2181 Ospika Boulevard in Prince George, British Columbia. The Kin Centre is a multi-arena facility comprising three ice surfaces that accommodate a variety of activities, including hockey, figure skating, lacrosse, in-line and ball hockey, tournaments, and trade shows. TIMELINE: Requests for proposals for design services is underway. The scope of work includes identifying the design and engineering requirements necessary to correct and maintain acceptable humidity levels within Arenas 2 and 3. The successful proponent will be responsible for completing all required engineering assessments and for preparing detailed designs, construction drawings, and technical specifications in support of the project objectives. Further update in late summer 2026, upon award.
