Renovation of a water / sewer project in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of April 2, 2026, project is cancelled. It will be republished at a later date. Bids are requested for WTP Facility Repairs. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project name. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total bid. Contractors must observe legislative acts relating to contractor licensing. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, add or delete work, waive informalities, and award a contract deemed in the best interest of the City. Bids may be held for sixty days. The City encourages participation from women and minority-owned enterprises. Bid package instructions and specifications will be reviewed at a pre-bid conference and are available from the City's Finance Department and website. Deadline for Written Questions: Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 2:00 pm. Email all questions to: twood@goldsboronc.gov Contractors are strongly encouraged to make a good faith effort to obtain 10% or more M/WBE participation on all contracts. Bids received after the advertised hour of opening will be returned to the Bidder unopened. The project consists of repairing window and door lintels, concrete encased beam repair and repair of wall cracks in the City Water Treatment Plant. The contractor will be responsible for conducting the repairs in accordance with the scope of work provided.
