Site work for a mixed-use development in Cherry Valley, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
Proposals are being accepted for Cherry Valley Streets & Watermain Improvements, including the Old Orchard Subdivision, Genoa Street, E. State Street, and S. Ulster Street. The scope of work includes HMA surface removal, HMA full depth removal, HMA placement, concrete sidewalk removal and replacement, concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, driveway removal and replacement, inlet adjustment, thermoplastic and paint pavement marking, street brick paver revitalization, watermain installation, and restoration. Bidders must submit a Contractor's Certificate of Eligibility and a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the total proposal. Prequalification categories must be relevant to the work. Construction money comes from local funds, and contractors will be paid monthly per completed work estimates. Use of local subcontractors, suppliers, and trades is strongly urged. Labor rates must comply with the General Prevailing Rate of Wages for the area. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive information, or accept proposals in the Village's best interest. No bid may be withdrawn after opening without written Village consent for forty-five (45) days after bid closing. Adda 1 listed on REPO
