Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Carlisle, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.
Qualified bidders may submit bids for the Nicholas County Emergency Services Building project. The project consists of a new single-story pre-engineered metal building to house EMS operations and apparatus. This includes an ICC-500 rated storm shelter, living quarters, and space for EMS apparatus. The site is located across the street from the Johnson Mathers Health Care facility, west of Carlisle. The project will be funded by CDBG and RD funds. Bids will be received for a general contract covering all trades. Bids must comply with the Instructions to Bidders and include bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. 1.
