Sealed bids are requested for Heritage Park Golf Course Irrigation Improvements. Bids must be submitted on standard proposal forms provided and delivered to the designated location by the specified deadline. Plans and specifications are available for inspection and can be downloaded online after account creation. Bidders must file a bid surety of at least five percent of the total bid amount, payable to the Johnson County Park and Recreation District. Bids will be publicly opened and then delivered for award determination. The Johnson County Board of Park and Recreation Commissioners reserves the right to award to the lowest and best responsive and responsible bidder, to reject any and all bids, and to waive irregularities and formalities. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is mandatory for all bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the bid opening. Improvements include installation of a new irrigation system on an existing golf course. The work will be phased to keep portions of the golf course open during construction activities. The Owner will purchase and provide the sprinkler heads, valves, and controllers for installation by the Contractor.
