Description

Site work for a mixed-use development in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and playground / park / athletic field.

Newtown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania will receive sealed electronic bids for the Newtown Creek Pedestrian/Bicycle Bridge and Trail Project. The project includes the construction of approximately 692 linear feet of trail, consisting of a 170-foot timber bridge over Newtown Creek and a 495-foot asphalt path between North Sycamore Street and Edgeboro Drive at Frost Lane. Work includes fencing, landscaping, hardscaping, and amenities. Plans and specifications are available at no cost on PennBid. Bid security in the amount of 10% is required. Prevailing wage rates apply. Performance and payment bonds (100% each) are required. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and award the contract in its best interest.
