Description

Site work for a mixed-use development in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and playground / park / athletic field.

Notice is hereby given that Newtown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, will receive sealed electronic bids via PennBid for the Newtown Creek Pedestrian/Bicycle Bridge and Trail Project. The project includes construction of approximately 692 LF of trail, consisting of a 170-foot timber bridge over Newtown Creek and a 495-foot asphalt path between North Sycamore Street and Edgeboro Drive at Frost Lane, located in Newtown Township and Newtown Borough, Bucks County, PA. Work includes fencing, landscaping, hardscaping, and amenities. Bid security in the amount of 10% is required. Prevailing wage rates apply. Performance and payment bonds (100% each) are required. Question Deadline 07/01/2026 at 5:00 PM ET The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and award the contract in its best interest.
