The project includes a Playground Equipment Contract for the installation of playground equipment and associated work at the Philadelphia Primary School for the Indian River Central School District. Each bidder must deposit with their bid security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Attention of bidders is called to requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and attached wage rates schedule to be paid under this Contract. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive any and all informalities and irregularities and reject any or all bids. The Board of Education also reserves its right to disqualify bidders for any material failure to comply with the Instructions to Bidders. There is no pre-bid conference scheduled. Each contractor is strongly encouraged to visit the school site and become familiar with the existing conditions. Doc note: Upon returning sets promptly to PLAN & PRINT SYSTEMS, INC., in re-usable condition, within 30 days after the date of the Bid opening, deposits will be refunded as follows: 1. Any Planholder will be refunded his deposit in full. 2. All Contract Documents received (except for Documents held by Successful Bidders) must be returned to Plan & Print Systems, Inc., 6160 Eastern Avenue, Syracuse, New York, 13211. 3. Deposits for documents, which are not returned within this 30-day period, will not be refundable.
