The City of Gastonia seeks to contract with a qualified vendor to perform calibrations of wastewater flow meters maintained by the City. The objective is to ensure all flow meters in the wastewater collection system are calibrated during agreed upon time periods and verified to read accurately. The City is responsible for the maintenance of 16 wastewater flow meters in the collection system, with primary metering devices consisting of flumes (such as Parshall, Palmer-Bowlus, and Trapezoidal) with ultrasonic sensors. Various secondary measuring devices, including control panels manufactured by ISCO, are also used at the 16 locations. Proposals must not exceed 10 pages and should address all submittal requirements stated. Proposals must be signed by an authorized officer or employee and specifically identify any confidential, proprietary, or trade secret portions. Proposals should be submitted electronically as a single PDF to Cody Austin by email, with a subject line indicating a response to this RFP.
