Sealed bids are solicited for the Construction of the Downtown Streetscape & Restroom project. Bid documents, including specifications, plans, and contract forms, may be examined at specified locations and must be purchased for submission. Each bid must include a certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government bonds at par value, or a satisfactory bid bond with acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The contract is subject to labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws, and applicable federal laws. Attention is drawn to the minimum salaries and wages required, along with equal employment opportunity requirements. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or waive any informality in bidding. Bids may be held for up to sixty (60) days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications before awarding the contract.
