Modified Design Build (MDB) for the design and construction of a new retail warehouse for the storage, management, handling, and distribution of all aircraft equipment at CFB Bagotville. The new facility will include: Base Spares Package; Deployed Spares Package; Pack-Up Kits; General consumables for regular use; Designated areas for general and bulk storage; Air-conditioned HAZMAT area; Storage area; Secure storage room; Offices; Area dedicated to material handling equipment; Packing and crating area; Shipping and receiving area; Loading docks for haulage trucks of various sizes; Circulation and parking spaces; Quarantine, repair, and arrival areas. The retail warehouse will be able to operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and will be able to accommodate up to 20 employees, with a maximum of 10 employees at the facility at the same time. Interested Designer-Builders should ensure they can obtain all required security clearances and should begin the application process if not already held. There may be a component requiring the participation of Indigenous businesses in accordance with the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB). Note.
