Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Mexico, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Phase 1 involves upgrades to select treatment systems at the wastewater treatment facility, including portions of the headworks (select grit processing components), septage receiving facilities, secondary clarifiers, return and waste sludge systems, and associated process components. The project also includes general site improvements, demolition of two existing bio-oxidation towers, renovation of the existing Operations Building, construction of a new Maintenance Building, instrumentation, and electrical upgrades. Interested firms on the official plan holders list can request access to a Matterport scan for reference, with the caveat that images may not reflect current conditions and dimensions must be field verified. Bidders are encouraged, but not required, to attend a pre-bid conference at the Wastewater Treatment Facility. Cutoff date for questions has been revised to April, 24th, 2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
