Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Asheboro, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 10,000-square-foot educational facility.

This project involves the renovation of approximately 10,000 square feet of space to support Curriculum and Continuing Education programs in the Design Building. The structure is a masonry building with carpet, finished concrete, acoustic ceilings, and gypsum walls. The scope includes removing interior walls and ceilings in the southern section of the building, adding garage doors with an elevated loading/unloading area, and providing space for storage of lab equipment, material, and trainers. The work will include interior demolition of walls, ceiling, ductwork, and lighting, as well as new floors, doors, lighting, walls, and an exterior loading zone. Bidders are required to submit three (3) copies of the Letter of Interest and SF-254. Firms must be properly licensed to practice Architecture, Engineering, or Landscape Architecture in the State of North Carolina.
